Let me tell you about why my favorite author is Roald Dahl and why I recommend for you to read (if you haven’t already!) his AMAZING books.
First of all, no-one is as witty, silly, descriptive and imaginative as Dahl. His character descriptions conjure the the sharpest picture in the readers mind. For example, Dahl says about Mrs Twit s: “she had a quite nice face when she was young. The ugliness had grown upon her year by year as she got older”. This really helps you to imagine her and her personality. As well as this, his stories often have an important moral message (good triumphs over evil). Finally, children are often the heroes, which I think is fantastic and clever as the books are written for children. I could talk about why I love Dahl all day!

Roahl Dahl makes really good children’s books .
He likes children more than adults because in all of his children’s books the kids always win and the adults always lose.

I think Roald Dahl likes kid more than parents because in the olden days his parents and teachers were always rude and I’ve got evidence because in his books in revolting rhymes in jack and the bean stalk when his mom goes up the smelly giant comes and eat her and jack becomes a millionaire and that was my eviedence

My favorite author is Jeff Kinney. The reason why she is my favorite author, is because she writes my favorite series of books called Diary Of A Wimpy Kid. My favorite thing about the book, is how Greg Heffley (the main character) is always getting into trouble. My favorite book in the series is Double Down. This book is about how Greg is getting suspicious that people are filming him and he doesn’t know it. Currently, Jeff Kinney lives in Massachusetts with his wife and his two sons.
My favorite author is David Walliams this is because he is extremely funny and when I was reading Gangsta Granny it sounded as if he was actually talking to me face to face. My favorite book by this author is rat burger no one is better than the amazing hilarious David Walliams. He has also once been the children’s laureate his books also have a message which is they always make sure the children win.
My favourite author is L.Pichon (also known as Liz Pichon) I recommend all her Tom Gates books, they are awesome! My favourite book is Super Good Skills!
No one is a better writer than L.Pichon as she is extremely funny! Sometimes she makes the reader feel sad for the character like when Tom got a detention she made the reader feel sad for him but when he got out of detention everyone feels happy! Here is an example

My favorite author is Lemony Snicket. This is because he wrote my favorite book series: A Series of Unfortunate events. I like the books because as you can see in the title ‘A Series of Unfortunate events’ the book is unfortunate. What I mean by this is that it is quite a sad but at the same time interesting. Lemony Snicket describes all things well: ‘The Baudelaire children crept silently through the slimy hallway as rusted floor boards squeaked’. Here is a fabulous fact: Lemony Snicket’s real name is Daniel Handler. There are many reasons why, for example: changing his name for the book, as he is the narrator who in the book is an explorer who was part of the three Snicket siblings, who throughout the books were killed, except for one, who tries to find the Baudelaire children, the reason why he wrote the books*. My favourite book was probably the fifth book (out of all thirteen books) because it shows many new characters who are all unique.

Let me explain why my favourite author is Derek Landy, who writes Skulduggery Pleasant (my favourite book series). I highly recommend you read his books, as they are the best books I’ve ever read!
First of all, no-one can conjure up an image of his story as well as he and his language is absolutely extraordinary! He makes his characters funny . For example, Valkyrie Cain’s dad, on Valkyrie’s 18th birthday, said, “Come outside, your present is there!” Valkyrie then said, “You got me a car?”
“No.”
“What did you get me?”
“A car.”
Because of my example, you can tell that Valkyrie’s dad is quite eccentric. To expand on my ideas, his stories are tense and real page-turners! They have loads of twists! Finally, Valkyrie always wins and she’s a teenager, and they are made for kids.
My favorite author also Roald Dahl because he uses his imagination to make up things like the Big Friendly Giant is a giant which caches children’s dreams and is made up. The twits are hilarious they call each other silly names and play tricks . My favorite trick is when Mrs Twit puts worms in Mr Twits spaghetti and she started to giggle while he was eating and she said I made a special spaghetti today .I enjoy Roald Dahl because he worked on years to make these amazing books and that’s why i like to read Roald Dahl books now a days .
My favorite author is Roald Dahl because he uses his imagination to make kids and adults laugh. For example he made up the twits who always did disgusting pranks like the spaghetti prank. Also, when you read Roald Dahl books he tells you lots of information about a character in the book. As a result, you can easily paint a picture of the character.Also, Roald Dahl is a great influence because he loved writing books and didn’t want to have technology, he just wanted books as one of his quotes were ” So, please, oh please, we beg, we pray, go throw your TV set away, and in its place you can install, a lovely bookcase on the wall.” I recommend you read Roald Dahl’s books and you will love his books. In addition, my favorite book from Roald Dahl is The Twits.
My favorite author is also Roald Dahl because he always has very funny and gives you a lot of detail about the characters and amazing rhymes. It also can be for adults and children because they are so interesting they are also so different to each other like: The BFG and Matilda, to completely different books. My favorite book by Roald Dahl is the Twits because it is so funny.
In my opinion my favorite author is Jeff Kinney because his books really give me a message about life .His books are layed out like a diary and i like it because there are very little author who lay out there books in a diary form. His books usually have a character called Greg and he is the main character. He also is the one who tells the reader his life style.
My favorite is Anthony Horowitz. The books Anthony Horowitz makes are Alex rider Scorpia , Stormbreaker, Eagle strike and many more. He studied in the university of York. He also made lots more books such as the diamond brothers I know what you did last Wednesday,Trigger Mortis and many more.When he writes his books he makes a comic version and a book of them.He inspired me to read his books when he made Stormbreaker in 2000. Alex (the main character)was trying to find out who killed his dad and he went to Colombia with his friends so he could help him to find out.
My favourite books are the Roald Dahl books because its silly and horrid at the same time.There’s another reason that i like them they are chapter books ,also i think Roald Dahl loves children and hates adults so he uses them as bullies and heroes (Adults are the bullies and the children are the heros ) In george’s marvelous medicine george made a medison so that he can teach his grandma a lesson by being rude at her( not that rude . His grandma is very rude to george ) The medicine is full of disgusting things that i wont use.
Andrew Lane is my favourite author beacause he makes books called Young Sherlock and I have read a few of them. My favourite 2 Books are Death Cloud and Knife Edge beacause those books are the first and last books and these are the books which describe what Young Sherlock is doing so much. Also the book cover is so detailed if you look at it you will know the book is scary. Andrew Lane has inspired me to be a writer and he is just the best of the best.
