The book I have read is George’s marvelous medicine which is an exceptional book. George has made a grousome medicine for his wicked old grandma. This book has alot of description.
Our group read Bills New Frock.This book is about a boy who wakes up in the morning and finds out that HE IS A GIRL.His mother gave him a beautiful pink frock . When he goes to school he looks at all the other girls and it turns out that he’s the only person out of the girls wearing a frock.At the afternoon there was a big fight over a comic because a girl was reading his favourite comic and she gave it to him and a boy snatches it of him and there was a big . When he goes home his mom said you look dirty so his mom takes it off and puts on his normal clothes on and it was a happy ending.
So far I have read Charlie and the chocolate factory, twits, fantastic mister fox and Georges marvellous medicine as you can see they are all Roald Dahl books so I am goner tell you about Charlie and the chocolate factory.in that book its about a poor family trying to earn money. In the book a boy name Bill wakes up to find that he has turned to girl over night.And worst of all his mum makes him wear a frock to school.As well as this,he find out that things are a lot harder for girls.In addition to this,Bill has to play football in a frock and do lots of job for the teachers because they think he is responsible because he is wearing a frock and because he is a girl and girls are more careful than boys.
I have just read Slimy Stuart and its about kings and queens reign and what terrible things has happens.
I chose this book because i loved history and looking at the past in the 1500 and 1600,there was the Great Fire of London.
The books I have read are Charlie and the chocolate factory, Charlie and the great elevator and fantastic Mr fox. The book we are reading now is George is marvellous medicine. It is a really funny book and recommend it to 5 year olds and older. The characters are George kranky, Mr killy kranky, grandma and Mrs kranky. The point of the story is that grandma is really rude to George but kind when his parents are at home. To get grandma back, George creates 4 marvellous medicines and at the end, grandma shrinks really fast and disappeared.

I have just read Georges marvelous medicine and it was a really fantastic book. This is what happened, George makes 4 different types of medicine and gives it to grandma and each time she gets thinner, taller. For marvelous medicine number two he added golden gloss hair shampoo, now the toothpaste,shaving soap,face cream and nail varnish.
We finished reading George’s Marvelous Medicine. My favorite part was when grandma got really tall and shot through the ceiling . I think this because of how funny it was and we really enjoined it. Also my favorite character was Grandma because she was very funny.
I have read Bill’s new frock. Bill’s new frock was about a boy that has woke up one morning and his mum thought that his son was a girl. As a result, Bill’s mum got Bill a pink frock and made him wear the pink frock. When Bill got to school, everyone thought he was a girl. Unfortunately for Bill, Mrs Collins ( the teacher) was reading a book called Repanzul. Then Mrs Collins told everyone in the class “we are going to act out Repanzul.”

Carrying on from the last paragraph, Mrs Collins chooses Bill to be Rapunzel because he is wearing a pink frock {because when he is a wearing a pink frock, everyone thinks that he is a girl}. Even though everyone treated him as a girl, he still knew that he was a boy. To Clarify, when he was acting out Rapunzel who is a girl, he was embarrassed because he was a boy. Luckily, everyone thought that he was a girl. After acting out Rapunzel, it was playtime. At playtime he wanted to play football with the boys but couldn’t because he was wearing a pink frock.
the book that I have been reading in guided reading is Stig of the dump. This book is a great book as Barney- the main character and an eight year old boy- and Stig- a homeless boy that lives in the dump and looks like a caveman- get up to amazing adventures, from fighting a leopard to making weapons. The story started by the ground giving way. Barney stays with his Grandma for the holidays (it is unknown who he really lives with). This book is really interesting as the book doesn’t stay in one scene, but moves to different places. Throughout the book no one believes in Stig until one night Lou (Barney’s sister) follows Barney to Stig’s den (the dump). Barney and Stig like to create new things for what you now call ‘their’ den. they build things like a recycled tin can chimney. Barney and Stig always think of better ways to improve the den, even though Stig only speaks a little bit of English.

Stig and Barney become friends. They both go on adventures and they become friends with a group of boys called The Snargets.

He met Stig and they became friends. Over all, they go on crazy adventures, like killing horses while they are hunting, playing cavemen and even outwitting the Snargets, three brothers, and then befriending them. At one part of the story, Barney takes home some animal skins because he and Lou (his sister) were going to a party. In essence, Stig of the Dumps is a very fie book and I recommend it to everyone.

Sadly, this effected Barney, Barney knew that Stig was real. He had saw him. He had felt him. He knew he was real.

Next they make new things from recyclable materials like a tin can chimney.
The book i have read are Esio Trot , charlie and the chocolate factory, twits, fantastic Mr fox and Georges marvelous medicine .All these are roald dahl books the review i’m doing is Georges marvelous medicine.This book is about a by and a Grandma who is beaning rude to George, so George is going to teach her a lesson by making a marvelous medicine that keeps going wrong in the seconded to the forth medicine.At the end grandma shrank and never seen again.(the medicine made her shrink)
I just read Slimy Stuart by Terry Deary and i find it really interesting because history is my nature and love reading about the reign of kings and queen like Charles II.
The first kings of the Stuart is James VI and I who was nearly killed by Guy Fawkes who got a executed in town during people was food.
Next, it Charles I (James VI and I son) who got executed on the chopping block by Oliver Cronwall.
The last book i have just read read Charlie and the chocolate factory. It is a really good book and i enjoy reading it all the time. This is what happens, every time on his birthday his mum and dad get him a mystery chocolate bar with a gold wrapper which says you have been invited to willy wonkers factory.
All the Roald Dahl books I have read are fantastic just like fantastic Mr fox, but out of all my absolute favourite book is Charlie and the chocolate factory. The book is about a boy called Charlie who is a very poor boy. On his birthday, he gets one of Mr willy wonkas chocolate bar. Then, his Grandpa Joe tells him a story about willy wonka and his chocolate bars. One day, Charlie gets a golden ticket to willy wonkas factory and all the people are Vanessa beuregade, violet, Augustus gloop and mike teeve. Every child apart from Charlie gets fat, stretched, slim or smelly. Then, the only child left is Charlie. Charlie is then wins the prize of keeping wonkas factory.
The book I have read is Young Sherlock. I am writing about this because it is such an outstanding book as it has drama scary scenes and lots more. If I was to recommend this book I would say this is the best book. If I was to rate this book I would give it a 30 out of 10

The book that I am going to speak about is the accidental secret agent by Tom McLaughlin. The genre of this book is humor as the author has a lot of hilarious parts. This book is about a boy who dreams about being a agent and it all comes true when a man (named Jake Pond) decides to swap lives after seeing him do three somersaults in the air! But soon things get out of hand when MI7(a secret agent service) forces him to to go on a secret mission. He has to go and defeat an evil super villain called Mr Snelly. when I think about secret agent, I wouldn’t think about a thirteen year old going around saving the world!
